of dairies in the u.s. undertaking every aspect of the cheese making process, including of course making the cheese itself. we're a farmstead dairy, which means we have our own animals and produce our own milk that produces our own cheese. the cheese they're making today is a product called "monet" -- one of their signature goat cheeses, topped by hand with edible flowers. i feel like i'm all thumbs here. well they're very delicate these little petals like that. harley farms may be a small, labor intensive operation, but its homegrown cheeses are winning awards and accolades. are you ready? oh no, i'm not. so, turn it upside down and then take it off and then you've got your pretty cheese. oh, yours looks better. no it doesn't, yours looks fabulous. even though mine's a bit off kilter, it promises to taste really good. and you're a cheesemaker. ah! i did it. you did it. my monet! me in wine country, still to up next a san jose hot spot that's part of a growing trend of wine shops with something more. they keep bringing in small wineries that maybe you haven't heard of that you could get
